CORRFLEXO supplies top quality razor slitting blades and tipped cut-off knives made of high performance super cobalt HSS.

The life time, hardness and durability of super cobalt HSS are much higher than the standard high speed steel. In additon to carbon, tungsten, molybdenum, chromium and vanadium, our super cobalt HSS contains approx. 5-6% cobalt. This improves the chemical composition, maximises efficiently the hardness up to 68 HRC and maintains these properties at the high temperatures (538°C) generated at high cutting speeds.

Cobalt high speed steel will exhibit even greater red hardness and wear resistance than the standard HSS M2.
